During Laylatul Qadr, our duas (supplications) are especially powerful and meaningful. It is a time when the gates of mercy are wide open and Allah's blessings and forgiveness are abundant. By turning to Allah in sincere repentance and asking for His guidance and support, we have the opportunity to strengthen our faith and draw closer to Him.

Allahumma inni as'aluka ma atamannaa wa ata'awwadhu bika mimmakhafah, Allahumma barik li fi ma razaqtani, wa qinni sharra ma qadayt, fa innama qadaytuka hiyal-haq.
O Allah, I ask You for what I desire and seek Your protection from what I fear. Bless my efforts, and make me satisfied with what You have given me. Grant that whatever You have decreed for me is good for me, and make me content with it.
Oh Allah, Te pido lo que deseo y busco Tu protecciĆ³n de lo que temo. Bendice mis esfuerzos y hazme satisfecho con lo que me has dado. Concede que todo lo que has decretado para mĆ sea bueno para mĆ y hazme contento con ello.

Allahumma innaka Afuwwun [Karimun ] tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee wa a'fu lanaa.
O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me, and pardon us.
Oh Allah, tĆŗ eres verdaderamente Perdonador, [Generoso], tĆŗ amas el perdĆ³n, asĆ que perdĆ³name, y perdĆ³nanos.
For mercy

Oh Allah, I ask You for Your mercy, which envelopes all things.
¡Oh Allah, te pido Tu misericordia, que todo lo envuelve!
For knowledge

Rabbi Zidni Ilma.
Oh my Lord, increase me in knowledge!
¡Oh mi SeƱor, aumenta mi conocimiento!
At the same time, not all knowledge is good for us. We may be unknowingly or ignorantly acquiring knowledge that is useless or – worse – harmful. It’s important to ask God to guide us in acquiring knowledge that helps us in the dunya and akhira with the following dua:

Allahumma inni audhibika min ilmin la yanfa’.
Oh Allah, I surely seek your protection against knowledge that does not avail.
Oh Allah, ciertamente busco Tu protecciĆ³n contra el conocimiento que no beneficia.
For avoiding the Haram
Allahumma aghnini bi halalika `an haramika wa bi ta`atika `an ma`siyatika wa bi fadlika `amman siwaka.

O Allah, make me self-sufficient with what You have declared as halal for me so that I am not compelled to resort to that which is haram; and make me self-sufficient with Your obedience so that I am not compelled to disobey You; and make me self-sufficient with Your favor so that I do not need to look to others for favor.Oh Allah, hazme autosuficiente con lo que has declarado como halal para mĆ, para que no me vea obligado a recurrir a lo que es haram; y hazme autosuficiente con Tu obediencia para que no me vea obligado a desobedecerte; y hazme autosuficiente con Tu favor para que no necesite buscar el favor de otros.
For seeking Allah's favor
Rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min kharyin faqeer.

For a good death
Allahumma j'al khayra zamani akhirahu, wa khayra 'amali khawatimahu, wa khayra ayyami yawma alqaaka.
